My Passion
In a world inviting distraction and distress, it can be challenging to hear the call of our authentic selves. We are too frequently encouraged to find answers to our questions and balms for our pains outside of ourselves.
That which we seek resides most powerfully within each of us, and my passion lies in strengthening people’s relationships to themselves. Whether it’s through psychotherapy, coaching, writing or speaking, I strive to distill the myths imparted on us by fear and strengthen connection and trust in oneself.
What sets me apart?
I specialize in helping with relationship issues. My clinical approach is grounded in strong theoretical background and training and extensive experience working with intra- and interpersonal issues. You will receive a therapeutic or coaching experience tailored specifically to you and your needs—conscious and unconscious—not prescribed from a workbook or other general tool you could find at your local book store.
Together we will get to the deep underlying issues to fully resolve the roadblocks that are getting in your way. I do not utilize “band-aid” approaches that often leave you feeling dissatisfied and hopeless. My clients report experiencing results. Whether I am the first or fifth therapist or coach people are seeing, clients often express finally feeling understood, hopeful and committed to the therapeutic process.
I appreciate that the foundation of a collaborative and productive working relationship is based on a trusted and compassionate connection between the two of us. I foster an environment of acceptance and partnership, alleviating your anxiety about both entering into the counseling or coaching process and about sharing your deepest, most vulnerable thoughts and feelings.
I value your time, energy and needs. During my business hours I will respond as promptly as possible to your need to schedule an appointment or have a question or concern answered over the phone or via email.
